A souvenir photo in Baška Voda, on the Riviera.
MomentoSnap is installed on the Baška Voda seafront - the palm-lined promenade running along the harbour and marina of this popular resort on the northern Makarska Riviera. How to find it
Baška Voda sits about 10 kilometres north-west of Makarska along the coastal road D8. Head for the harbour and marina in the centre of town - the MomentoSnap booth is on the palm-lined waterfront promenade, with Biokovo framing the skyline behind it.
If you're coming from Makarska to the south, follow the D8 north past Bratuš; Baška Voda is well signposted and about a 12-minute drive. From Brela just to the north, it's a 5-minute drive or a pleasant walk along the shorefront path.
The town's main promenade runs from the harbour along the seafront towards Nikolina beach. The MomentoSnap booth is on the waterfront by the marina - the busiest, most central point, where the palms line the walk and the beach begins.
Best time to come
Late afternoon is the sweet spot. Biokovo catches warm golden light behind the town and the sea turns from turquoise to deep gold. The harbour fills with returning boats, the palm-lined promenade comes alive with the evening stroll, and the print you take home looks nothing like a phone snapshot. Early morning is quieter, the water is glassy and calm, and the mountain is sharp before the heat haze sets in. The booth handles full Dalmatian sun all day without a problem.

About Baška Voda
Baška Voda is one of the best-loved resorts on the Makarska Riviera, on the coast a little north of Makarska beneath the same great wall of Biokovo. It grew, like its neighbours, from an old fishing and seafaring village - the settlement of Bast on the slope above is far older, and Baška Voda ('Bast's water') began as its harbour down by the sea. For generations its people lived from fishing, boat-building and the vine, and the town still keeps a small church of St Nicholas, patron of sailors, on the seafront. Over the last century Baška Voda turned decisively to tourism, and today it is known above all for its beaches - long, pine-shaded pebble strands like Nikolina that regularly rank among the finest on the Adriatic coast. The palm-lined promenade, the clear shallow water and the backdrop of Biokovo give the town the classic postcard of the Makarska Riviera, in a slightly gentler, family key than Makarska itself.
Frequently asked
Where exactly is the MomentoSnap booth in Baška Voda?
On the Baška Voda seafront promenade, by the harbour and marina at the centre of town. Look for it on the waterfront side, among the palms, with Biokovo rising behind it. You'll pass it on the way to Nikolina beach.
How far is Baška Voda from Makarska?
About 10 kilometres north-west along the coastal road D8 - roughly a 12-minute drive. Baška Voda is one of the string of resorts that make up the northern Makarska Riviera, next to Brela.
Can I take a group photo?
Yes. The framing is wide enough for a group of up to about six people, with Biokovo and the Adriatic visible in the background. Move closer together for more of the mountain; spread out for more of the sea.
What is the weather like - will the booth work in rain?
The booth is weatherproof and designed for outdoor use in all conditions. Dalmatian summers are reliably sunny; if you do visit on a grey day, the Biokovo backdrop is still dramatic and the booth prints without a problem.
Is the print included in the price, or just the digital copy?
Both are included in a single payment. Every session gives you a printed 4×6 keepsake on glossy water-resistant paper, plus a free high-resolution digital copy via a unique QR code printed on the back.
Is the booth open at night?
Yes. The Baška Voda seafront stays busy into the late evening in summer and the booth runs 24/7. An evening shot with the promenade lights and Biokovo silhouetted behind you makes a different kind of photo altogether.
